Laptop for Parts

For parts laptops are a nice option that is good to the environment and your wallet at the same time. Usually these laptops simply are without an operating system or a hard drive which is a very easy fix. Save a lot of money by purchasing a "broken" laptop and fixing it up.

The laptop pictured above was purchased for $47.00 with free shipping to the door. All it needed was a hard drive. It came with 4 GB RAM and an intel i3 CPU - perfect for browsing the internet, checking e-mail and remote controlling Good Rock Radio

Linux can run on just about any computing device no matter how low processing power it has. The minimum system requirements for Ubuntu 22.04 default graphics are dual core @ 2.0 GHZ, 4 GB RAM and just 25 GB of hard drive space.

Ubuntu server mode + XFCe4 Graphics can run on even lower hardware specifications!

Each of the laptops below have different problems. Some are easy to fix while others are not worth the hassle. Either way choosing to re-use a laptop is better than allowing it to go the landfill.
